Ashleigh Montoney Davis, LISW-S, EMDRIA Certified Therapist

It is in prioritizing our well-being that we build strength, discover greater peace, increase our empathy and understanding towards others, sustain efforts for social justice, and are able to take better care of the people around us. As a psychotherapist, a yoga teacher/practitioner, an End-of-Life Doula/hospice volunteer, and a dedicated meditation teacher, I have developed a personal framework for what life means to me and how to create lasting change. It’s my intention to empower others to develop their own unique framework that supports their efforts of finding peace and happiness in a world of constant change and uncertainty. When we step out of survival mode, we free up energy to create a life we love!
My psychotherapy work has recently opened up to the public after solely serving the population affected by the Norfolk Southern train derailment disaster. This is also the community that I live in. I practice at a location called the East Palestine Resiliency Center. In addition to mental heath therapy, I offer trauma focused yoga, meditation, and pet therapy.
As a certified EMDR therapist, I am continuously immersing myself in the latest research and techniques while exploring progressive ways to expand on evidenced based practices. I respect and value practices that have proven to be successful with improving our wellbeing and also know that we are ever evolving creatures of humanity in a world that is equally, if not more rapidly, changing. It is my life mission to take a leading part of this evolutionary process with compassion, intelligence, and courage. It is not easy to enter the unknown, and it is only with other brave souls who are willing to face their selves that we can create lasting peace within our world.
I am currently under training to become a certified sound practitioner and look forward to enhancing my offerings with these practices that intentionally use our electromagnetic field to heal.
